The Subtle Movements Within: A Conversation with Anna Solyóm

Welcome to the Red Beard Embodiment Podcast, where we explore the world of embodiment and how it can help us connect the mind and body for a more fulfilling life.

In this episode, host Alex Greene sits down with Anna Solyóm, a Hungarian-born writer, psychosomatic therapist with expertise in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, as well as TRE® (Tension Releasing Exercises).

Anna is currently undergoing certification as a Compassionate Inquiry practitioner with Dr. Gabor Maté and Sat Dharam Kaur and is preparing for certification as a ritualist in Ancestral Medicine with Dr. Daniel Foor. Anna is also a Moon Mother®, offering womb healing and balancing sessions for women. In addition to her therapeutic work, Anna is a TRE® Trainer Trainee for Hungary and leads the International TRE® Provider Certification program for Hungarians. She has a Master's degree in Philosophy and has over 25 years of personal development experience.

In this episode Anna shares with us her personal journey of self-discovery and how it led her to a deep understanding of the power of the mind-body connection. As a troubled teenager, Anna found solace in embodied therapies such as Reiki, dance, and Kung Fu. She later studied philosophy in college and worked in international development before moving to Barcelona to focus on her passion for embodied therapies.

One of the key embodiment practices Anna discusses in the podcast is biodynamic craniosacral therapy, which takes a gentle, non-manipulative approach to help the body reorganize itself and heal. She also speaks about TRE®, a technique that helps release tension, stress, and trauma from the body by activating the neurogenic tremor mechanism and can be used in conjunction with other forms of therapy.

Anna emphasizes the power of connecting with our bodies to improve our mental state and the importance of treating trauma with a holistic approach. Her work with biodynamic craniosacral therapy, TRE®, and ancestral lineage healing highlights the importance of creating space for the body to heal itself.

The conversation also touches on the importance of bringing presence, stillness, and empathy to our interactions with others, and how it can positively impact our mental and physical health.

This episode is a valuable resource for anyone interested in learning more about these practices and their potential to transform lives.
